Text, Performance, and Installation in Dialogue

She graduated from Galatasaray University’s Faculty of Communication (Istanbul, Türkiye, 2007) and began her professional media career as an editor at NTV, Türkiye’s largest and first news channel, where she worked between 2008 and 2011. Her final role in media was as the founding digital publishing director of The Art Newspaper Türkiye, before ultimately turning her full attention to her artistic practice, driven by a deep commitment to artistic production. Her poetry first gained recognition with an Honorable Mention in the Yaşar Nabi Nayır Youth Award (2015), organized by Varlık, Türkiye’s oldest and most established literary magazine. The manuscript, The Corpse of a Woman Saint, was later published as her debut poetry book. Her poems have appeared in various international publications, including the World Poetry Almanac (2017–2018), and have been translated into more than ten languages, including German, English, Dutch, Croatian, Bulgarian, Persian,
and French.

Alongside her writing, she develops text-based and conceptual installations that explore the interplay between metaphor and reality. In 2014, she participated in her first group exhibition, Young, Fresh, Different V at Zilberman Gallery, where her work was selected through a competitive jury process. She has since presented her work at numerous international literary and art festivals, combining poetry, live performance, and installation to create thought-provoking experiences.

Currently based in Luxembourg,
she continues to develop projects at the intersection of literature and contemporary art.
